What are Mod Chips for Guitar Hero?
Mod Chips are devices that can be soldered or attached with ribbon cables to the inside of someone's PS2 so they can play burned discs with Custom Songs. The advantage to Mod Chips is the player doesn't have to "Swap Discs" and the disadvantage is opening the PS2 voids the warranty. Mod Chips are only legal to use if you legally own the burned games you are playing.
